Cyclist of West Texas
While I was on a trip on the other side of Texas, I was able to talk to quite a few cyclist. The hills near Big Bend National Park are pretty intense, the elevation changes so much that your ears pop often. I met folks that brought their bikes to the park to ride in the deserts of Texas and others that were traveling across North America. I don’t know about you but I think pannier bags are awesome and wish my bike had a rack for them. Heres a few pics I took. This guy rode from the Basin of Big Bend to Study Butte, Tx which is about 35 miles
These two guys went to college in San Angelo, the guy in yellow is from Seattle and the other cyclist is from Ohio. I swear to you going up this hill, these two guys were choppin’ it at 30 miles an hour. (Yellow Xterra = SAG Wagon) *good guys
