Deep Ellum Outdoor Market & Farmers Market

Yesterday I rode to two different outdoor markets: The Deep Ellum Outdoor Market, which showcases local artisans’ goods (and where I ran into Colin of Switching Gears Cyclery), and the Farmer’s Market, where I went to sample and choose some tasty produce. ¬†Choosing to go by bike to these markets was great, because I got to notice lots of little details along the way, like an apartment building decorated with roosting crows (You know, “Put a bird on it”)! ¬†Cycling to these destinations also forced me to be extra selective of the fruits and vegetables I chose to purchase, since I had to carry them home with me on my bike.
