Who says you need an Air Stream ?

Back in October 1940 this kid, as you can read above, took his bike and trailer on a 1200 mile ride. It must of been an experience to stop on coaster breaks with a trailer.

100 Car Parking Lot = 690 Bike Parking Lot

Annie Scheel took first place in the Delaware Valley Green Building Council Design Competition with her awesome all-in-one bike center. Even though it’s hypothetical it would be an awesome structure with bikes, restaurants, showers, and mini shops. Read more about her plan: Philadelphia Parking Lot Transformed

Chrome is Slippin!

Chrome has officially released their new Tobruk slip-on shoe, available in both Black and Grey Cordura. I personally prefer slip-ons so I just might pick up a pair in the near future.

The Tobruk is filled with details that make riding in them easier and the shoe, itself, tougher.  Those features include:

·      Low profile design to better fit into a toe cage

·      100% vulcanized construction

·      Weatherproof 1,000 denier Cordura with back-padding

·      Re-enforced nylon/glass fiber shank to support the midsole

·      Board lasted sole to eliminate pedal hot spot

·      Skid resistant contact rubber on the sole

·      Polyurethane contoured crash pad insole

·      Durable rubber heel cup with reflective safety hit

·      Center gore slip-on design

Check our more photo and cop a pair here! Major shoutout to Jackie at Chrome for showing us some love!

A Special Message

Originally spotted as a tweet from @ZLOGBLOG, we share to you this link from Bike A Day LA. Considering where you are while you read this, it may be NSFW.

At the end of the day just think, a bike is a bike is a bike is a bike.  The more we get out there up and rolling, the better. Remember people, E.L.E.
