Hi.


I just moved to Euless from Los Angeles and was part of the bike scene there (i guess).

I had a 53 cm pink nishiki mixte and it was beautiful
then i crashed it into another human being and it was no more. 

soo i want to start the process of building a bike down here.
couple questions
1) Where the hell do I start finding a frame?  In LA you could get them for about a bill of craigslist, but CL is pretty bunk here for cheap frames to build off of.  which brings me to...
2) Are there any bike co-ops around here?
3) What's your favorite bike shop?

and that's it.
BTW, if anyone reading this has some extra frames.  I need a 53 cm mixte frame....and should i ever again get so lucky, a pink frame would melt my heart.

omg i'd die for a pink bike.

how much does she want for it?  is it single speed/fixed (idk the difference)  i normally am very anti single speed (oh my gears were so beautful), but it seems like you guys don't have many hills here in TX.  is it like that all over. 
unfortunately i really  need  chick frame (preferably mixte) cause a lot of dresses come out in the summer   i could probablyg et over it for a good price and a good bike, my choices are so limited here.
