what light do you use for riding at night? I use a tactical 100 lumen flashlight zip-tied and clamped onto my bike. Works real well and runs off of 3 AAA batts.

I don't know the brands.  For my main commuter (a 2007? Trek 7.2 FX), I have a halogen headlight, a very bright flashy taillight.  I have very wide and bright spoke lights in my wheels (red in the back, green up front).  On my helmet, I have a small LED white flasher in front, and a wider blinkly red light in the back (attached with zip ties, yay!).

I also wear an LED blinky reflective vest...

I like lights....

(on my folder, I have a bright LED in front and a very bright flashy red in the rear = both of which can be removed easily for an even smaller fold!)

I have a Niterider MiNewt in the front, the best purchase I ever made, I do most of my riding at night when all the goblins come out and this light I swear to you is so bright its scares them away. On a serious note this thing can provide light for a few other riders who do not have lights. The back of by bike I have a Planet Bike SuperFlash, this thing can make you see a big ass red dot if I look directly into its hypnotizing strobe.
